How sweet are these 2?!? I officially had my first "non-human" 10 minute mini session customers at my farm market booth this past Saturday. They were so adorable! I am offering a lemonade stand prop again next Saturday and had some real interest from a couple with a small, furry, 4 legged friend. So, hopefully, along with the kids I am going to photograph, I will also have some interesting doggy pics to share soon.

My MeMe came to visit from the other side of the United States. Only on the last day of her visit did I get to spend any "real" time with her because if the surgery I had to have while she was here. I "forced" her into a mini photo shoot. I was very happy with the results! I love you, MeMe!

The 4th of July means it is time to update my crew's pictures. I am kind of like the mechanic who drives the beater car or a landscape artist who has nothing in their yard but a bunch of weeds. I get so wrapped up and overwhelmed taking pictures of everyone else's children that I sometimes end up with no time left to photograph my own. However, we made it happen! Now, on to the next hurdle...having them printed and distributed before they turn 20...

It was SO HOT outside for our photo shoot. But we had fun anyway. I really do love this family! Mommy and Daddy love their children and each other with their whole hearts. Unfortunately, there is not enough of that in the real world today. It is so refreshing and reassuring to know that people still love and respect one another. Getting mushy, I know. I'll stop babbling for now and get "on with the show"...

My daughter described these two little girls best! When she came downstairs from her nap and saw them, she said, "Oooo! Hello Kitty Princesses!"

One of Grandma's Christmas wishes was to have these two cuties photographed with some of her Hello Kitty collection. We had such a good time granting her that wish!

I had SO MUCH FUN yesterday at Parkside School! We were having such a good time at the Christmas party...singing songs, laughing, playing...and what happened when we started singing Jingle Bells? We started HEARING jingle bells! And then, to the children's surprise, Santa came walking in and handed out presents for all of the good boys and girls! What an honor it was to be able to take their pictures with Santa Claus!

Thursday was such a pretty day...until our photo shoot at 5:00 p.m.! we thought for sure that since the rain had held off all day it would hold off just a little bit longer so we could get some pictures of MeMe and Papaw's 8 grandkids. No such luck, unfortunately.

We were total super heroes, though. We dodged rain drops, passed kids around and even had time for playing on the swing set. I think a great time was had by all!

In order to fill some very special "Daddy" picture frames, we needed some pictures with Daddy. So we ventured out one sunny morning in hopes of capturing some fantastic little smiles. Take a look at what we came up with!

AJ is autistic and not easy to photograph. It makes me so happy when I am able to preserve her true beauty in a portrait such as this one.

Annie gives a whole new meaning to the term "high maintenance!" She's adorable...just, well, high maintenance!

Nolan is such a little man! And he seems to resemble his Daddy just a little bit!

JR the "Snuggle Bug" can be so sweet and so destructive all at the same time. Don't let the innocent little grin fool you!
